Job Title: Payroll Administrator

Location: Barnstaple

Salary: £20,000+ DOE

Acorn Recruitment is seeking an experienced, diligent and motivated Payroll Administrator for an established Accountancy practice in Barnstaple. The suitable candidate will have good hands on knowledge of running multiple payrolls.

Job Role

The main function of the Payroll Administrator will be to assist and support the Payroll Department with all aspects of payroll processing:

* Being responsible for processing numerous payroll schemes of varying size

* Processing of a large number of employee payroll on behalf of clients

* Accurate PAYE and Pension deductions

* Accurately complete payroll for all clients employee’s, on time

* Other administration duties as required by the company

Person Specification

* Good working knowledge of current PAYE/RTI regulations

* Good working knowledge of pension auto-enrolment practises

* Hands on, relevant experience of running payroll

* Self-motivated individual who can work on own incentive

* Excellent attention to detail

* Preferably experience of using sage payroll software
