Looking for an opportunity as the sole QA Engineer where you are able to shape the future of a company's software testing? You will be the QA Engineer for a video-technology company where your goal is to make all software testing in the company automated. In the meantime you will be conducting manual tests with various different approaches in areas where there is no automation coverage. You’ll be part of a small development team with the collective expertise to support you and will have the opportunity to explore other areas of the company at a later date if that is of interest. Responsibilities Full SDLC Writing automated test cases in Java using Selenium and JUnit frameworks and using CI tools such as Jenkins to configure scheduled automated test runs. Expanding automated test coverage across different browsers and operating systems Keeping relevant test pages and test devices up to date. Reacting accordingly to current trends in device usage with tailored test plans. Exploring and introducing new ways to improve test processes (new tools and programs, test types and methodologies). Using different methods to approach testing (functional, exploratory, end to end). Finding and helping identify issues and bugs. Writing clear and repeatable issue tracking tickets, allowing developers and other people from the business to understand issues easily. Maintaining bug lists, keeping issues updated with clear and concise information and reviewing stale tickets.
