Marketing and Business Administrator - Spider are recruiting for a Marketing & Business Administrator for our client, a leading provider of innovative scientific instruments in UK & Ireland. This company works with a wide range of organisations from multi-national corporations to prestigious academic and government research institutes. This is a Part Time Marketing & Business Administrator role working 5 days per week, 20 - 25 hours. In return we are offering a pro rata salary of £26,000 to £28,000 per annum. As Marketing & Business Administrator you'll be required to become familiar and competent in all aspects of marketing support, customer services and business administration to support the Office Manager and Marketing Executive. Experience of copy writing and managing social media platforms and campaigns would be an advantage. Duties: Providing marketing support including managing customer satisfaction surveys, copywriting, managing social media channels and campaigns, updating website content, creating and editing of video and organising attendance at events. Customer support including direct customer contact mainly by telephone and email whilst maintaining the CRM system. Generating and sending out order acknowledgments to customers, placing purchase orders and creating delivery notes and invoices. Liaising with overseas suppliers and UK/Ireland end customers regarding purchase orders, deliveries and installations. Generation of operational, service and training manuals, certificates, calibration and other documentation as and when required. Arranging logistics regarding (a) shipping of goods from suppliers to customers, (b) customer and supplier visits to our premises and (c) sales personnel visits to customers, suppliers, conferences, meetings etc. Skills and Experience Required: Confident dealing and communicating with people at all levels both written and orally. Ability to work as part of a team. High degree of self-motivation with the ability to plan and manage own workload and meet deadlines whilst being meticulous with attention to accuracy and detail. A general competence in IT, with familiarity in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint). Flexibility, including a willingness to travel if/when required. Full UK driving license and access to own transportation would be preferable. Experience using Adobe Creative Cloud software (including Premier Pro video editing software) is desirable but not essential. This part-time Marketing & Business Administrator is required 5 days per week (preferably mornings) 20-25 hours (but there is room for flexibility). In return for the ideal candidate our client is offering a salary of £26,000 to £28,000 (pro rata based on 37.5 per week).
