The Finance and Accounting division at SF Recruitment are currently seeking a Finance Manager for an outstanding company. We are seeking an immediately available Finance Manager to work closely with the new CEO of the company to manage its future growth. The position reports directly to the CEO and the holds full day to day responsibility for maintenance of the accounting records of the company. Duties - Daily input of transactions to Exchequer accounting system - Daily bank reconciliation including FX accounts - Maintain accounting records and archives - Maintain sales ledger and operate credit control - Maintain purchase ledger and approved supplier list and make payments - Check, input and pay employee expense claims and company credit card charges - Input monthly employee timesheets - Reconcile and submit quarterly VAT and ECSL returns - Produce monthly management accounts - Produce KPIs and reports for quarterly management meetings - Produce annual and quarterly budgets and forecasts - Produce monthly cash forecasts - Produce year end accounts and liaise with auditors and tax advisors - Maintain fixed asset register - Payroll - Ad-hoc accounting tasks The successful candidate will be an experienced and versatile hands-on person from an SME background, willing and able to use initiative to deal with any challenges as well as being happy dealing with day-to-day routine. Must be a team-player and have good communications skills but be happy to work alone and able to organise own workload and meet strict deadlines. Must be IT-literate and have advanced Excel skills. Experience of project accounting would be desirable. AAT or higher qualifications, or studying, would be an advantage.
