Insurance Claims Handler

Cirencester

18 month contract

£18,352 per annum pro rata

We have a superb opportunity to join a specialist insurance company with an award winning product and who are proud to pay out 97% of all claims. Working in the claims team you will be assisting with an allocated case load in order to assess the validity of claims and providing a point of contact for members. The role is to cover an 18 month maternity contract.

Duties include:

* Validating financial evidence / documentation and calculating entitlement.

* Assist with the validation of medical evidence and documentation.

* Assist with the identification of non-disclosure

* Liaise with claimants, agents, and other sources to ensure all documentation is received.

* Record all documents and information on the system to tract and report progress of a claim.

* Work with the Senior Claims Handler to keep informed of the status of all allocated claims.

* Submit approval for payment of claim.

Skills and Experience required:

* Good standard of education with a minimum grade B GCSE in English and Maths

* Proficient in MS office

* Experience of dealing with people over the telephone.

* Experience of working within the Financial Services Industry beneficial.

* Ability to manage own workload.

Hours are 08:45 - 5:00 Monday to Friday
