Job Title: Financial Controller (EMEA)

Location: Marlow, Maidenhead, Henley, High Wycombe, Slough

Salary: £45k plus 10% bonus + Benefits

Evolve Recruitment are seeking a Financial Controller for our client. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a fast growing world-class leader in design and manufacturing within their industry.

Key Responsibilities:

§The Financial Controller will actively manage the results by supporting the monthly closing process, which incl. creating accruals or journals to be posted by the accounting team.

§Compile and deliver precise monthly reporting for actuals and the year to go forecast.

§Report and forecast monthly capital expenditure

§Preparation of production cost estimates and standard vs. actual product costing analysis.

§The Financial Controller will analyse purchase price variances and recommend actions to avoid or minimize them.

§The Financial Controller will Regularly review, monitor and control marketing budget with the central marketing team

§Aligning the intercompany recharges for advertising and promotional activities with both the Central marketing team and the countries’ marketing managers.

§Contribute in other projects for internal process optimization and cost saving initiatives.

§In addition to identifying potential risks and opportunities, the Financial Controller will analyse and present the monthly results to the department managers

§Sustaining the budget process, planning, reporting and presenting. This will include interaction with the cost centre owners and preparation of budget packs and input templates.

§The Financial Controller will drive profitability and strategic decisions by developing new reports and analyses.

§Actively participating in the development of new and improvement of existing processes and procedures for internal control.

Key Skills:

§Part qualified ACA/CIM/ACCA

§Good understanding of financial KPI’s

§Analytical skills with attention to detail

§Ability to manage relationships with senior stakeholders

§Ability to work autonomously and effectively as part of a team

§Confident and persuasive individual with inquisitive mind

§FMCG sector experience preferred

§Excellent MS Office skills including Excel (Advanced level), PowerPoint, Outlook

§Experience with SAP and QlikView desirable
