As experts in plastics and PVCu building products, they’ve shown dynamic development and innovation, and lead the industry in their service, range of products and attention to detail.

Due to an excellent and sustainable order book, along with investment in modern manufacturing facilities they are now looking for a suitably qualified and experienced Maintenance Technician to join an existing maintenance team at their impressive Ilkeston facility.

The Role

As a Maintenance Technician your role will include aspects of planned and preventative maintenance, along with responding to equipment issues as they arise.

The variety in what you'll work on is also a definite plus in this role, with no two days being exactly the same.

* Ordering of new/replacement equipment and recording any subsequent issues.

* Issuing and monitoring of work permits and related documentation

This role will require you to travel to other local sites for the business, for which a vehicle will be provided.

The key things you're going to need in order to be considered for this Maintenance Technician role:

* Sufficient Mechanical and Electrical installation and maintenance experience gained in a manufacturing environment (essential)

* Proven problem solving skills and good communication skills, along with a determination to do a good job

* An ability to read, understand and interpret mechanical and electrical drawings

* Experience within the maintenance and repair of PLC systems would be ideal but similar will be considered
