£20,000.00 - £24000 Depending on Experience

We are currently recruiting a new and exciting role for a well-established family run business in the local area. Your role as Payroll / Office Administrator will include monthly/weekly payroll and associated reception and administration duties

The Payroll / Office Administrator role will involve

* Processing monthly and weekly Sage payroll for up to 200 clients calculating SSP, SMP, SPP and other required payments

* Dealing with client, employee and HMRC payroll queries

* Ensuring all submissions are processed with accuracy and on time

* Meeting and greeting visitors, dealing with any clients’ queries on the telephone/ email

* Responsible for clerical duties, letters, post, filing, sales invoicing and debt collection

* Managing company CRM system

The ideal Payroll / Office Administrator candidate will possess:

* Experience using Sage payroll, weekly and monthly from start to finish

* Ability to work independently, attention to detail and achieving deadlines

* Excellent communication and customer service skills

* Experience working for an accountancy practice would be an advantage but not essential
