Job Title: Product Manager EMEA

Location: Aylesbury, High Wycombe, Berkshire, Maidenhead, Burnley

Salary: Up to £40k + 10% bonus potential and other benefits

Evolve Recruitment are currently looking for a Product Manager for our client who is a world class leader within its industry sector. You will be responsible for setting and executing the strategic product road map for the relevant portfolios. This role involves full life cycle management from the initial opportunity assessment, to defining and developing, through to market launch and ongoing ‘in life’ management.

Key Responsibilities:

·Working with the Global SBU & European Management team, you will be responsible for delivering the product strategy for your portfolio that will allow the company to succeed in its future goals.

·Landscaping and market profiling to allow a clear understanding of product & category trends across Europe to identify opportunities.

·Defining product features & specifications that are required by the end user that within the competitive landscape provide a compelling proposal to ensure commercial success.

·Managing the product development process working closely with the global development teams to ensure the product truly delivers against the pre-identified metrics. These include but are not limited to features, benefits, performance, industrial design, quality, cost and schedule.

·Managing product launches through the business, with emphasis on;

·Production dates & availability in the European warehouses.

·Product detail such as manuals, packaging, catalogues, online, etc.

·Pan-European price positioning.

·Phase in / phase out planning.

·Commercial plans with the markets and B&C team.

·Working with the local sales & marketing teams to deliver the necessary products for range and promotions across their distribution base to ensure profitable growth.

·Control of SKU variations for the EMEA markets.

·Monitoring and reporting the performance of product portfolio(s) against given targets.

·Supporting our internal teams with product training and customer presentations / training.

Key Skills:

·Product or Commercial background in professional power tools (1-2) years

·A broad ‘application’ knowledge behind the usage of our professional tools

·Candidates must possess strong written and verbal communication skills

·A highly motivated self-starter with strong individual and team working skills

·European language would be of benefit

·Strong analytical / financial acumen

·A strong working knowledge of relevant software packages used in the office environment (Excel, Word, PowerPoint etc.)

·Willingness to travel regularly
