Activus Recruitment has an exciting opportunity for a Financial Advisor based in Aberdeen City Centre. Our client is looking to expand its dedicated team, seeking a committed individual to enhance its growing services.

Reporting to the Finance Manager, this full-time vacancy will involve assisting in a finance business service, covering advice and support on all financial aspects associated with financial planning, budget monitoring and financial analysis.

The candidate will have the ability to manage and provide exceptional levels of care and support to an existing client portfolio. A finance related degree is preferable, but not mandatory, and the suitable candidate would ideally demonstrate relevant experience working in a similar role.

Candidate Requirements:

* Be able to prioritise and plan workload

* Proven attention to detail and high accuracy levels

* Good verbal and written skills and able to work on own initiative

* Ability to work under pressure to achieve tight deadlines

* Ability to work within business processes

* A finance related degree is not required but is preferable

Duties:

* You will assist in the preparation of budgets, budget monitoring and work under the guidance of the Finance Manager

* Ensuring that budgets are kept up to date and report appropriately

* Provide professional advice and support, both direct and indirect

* Assist with the assessment of client investment risk-profiles
