Working for a growing company, my client is looking for a self-motivated, forward thinking individual who possesses relevant purchasing experience along with a strong business acumen to join their busy purchasing team.

Responsibilities will include:

* Product sourcing

* Liaising with suppliers worldwide

* Negotiating prices to keep supplier cost downs

* Providing recommendations for cost saving initiatives

* Organising international freight of goods

* Attending supplier meetings

* Stock control, organising re-orders

* Responsible for your own client accounts, processing orders accurately

A confident telephone manner with excellent communication and interpersonal skills are essential, together with strong numeracy and IT skills
