Adecco Have an exciting opportunity for a Part Qualified Accountant (CIMA/ACA/ACCA) to join a busy team for a global company in Newcastle upon Tyne.

Temp role until July but may extend

Pay rate £9.27

40 hours per week

Description:

Provides general financial administration services.

* Provides general financial administration services.

* Prepares accounts and invoices, monitors outstanding receivables and performs routine reports for professionals and management.

* Contributes to budget planning and monitoring.

* Maintains general financial information in the respective information system.

* Provides data for monthly, quarterly and annual reporting of the unit.

* Provides general qualified support for Finance Professionals and Finance Management.

Responsibilities

Project Controllers are the financial partner to the Commercial Project Manager as well as the wider operational project team. Aspects of Cost Controlling, Forecasting, Budgeting, Accounting, Reporting and Forex management all fall within the scope of the Project Controlling Team.

In this role you will be responsible for providing clear, accurate and insightful analysis on the financial aspects of your projects, in order to aid the Project team in maximising both operational and financial performance.

What do I need to qualify for this job?

This role is a perfect opportunity for a part qualified accountant (CIMA/ACA/ACCA) to join a busy team. You will have experience of working in a similar role, ideally in a large and complex organisation. You will have a good understanding and practical experience of accounting principles including currency management, month end processes, project finance and periodic financial work. You will have excellent IT skills, be an advanced user of Excel and ideally have some experience of working with SAP.

The ideal candidate for this role will be able to demonstrate excellent interpersonal and communication skills to work in a diverse and multi-cultural environment with stakeholder interaction across multiple remote sites.
