Key Stage 2 teacher needed as soon as possible at larger than average Bradford Primary School

Are you looking to teach within Bradford primary schools? Are you hard working and dedicated to teaching Key Stage 2? I am currently working exclusively with a larger than average Bradford primary school who are looking for a strong Key Stage 2 teacher.

This central Bradford primary school, has created a caring ethos and the members of staff know their families well. Parents feel positive about the school and engage well with the school. The school believes that education should be enjoyable and fulfilling as well as a means for future success.

Staff are proud of the school’s values, warm environment and sense of team spirit and although the job is to take on the full class teacher responsibilities for a Key Stage 2 class, the school is two form entry so the planning and assessing responsibilities are shared with the other class teacher. Team work is encouraged by the Leadership team.

The school is based in a challenging area and has an above-average number of pupils who come from a range of minority ethnic groups yet pupils for whom English is not their first language is average however the school have very excellent support staff in each class and specialists to work across the school with pupils with individual needs.

You will need to be committed to achieving high standards in education and should be highly adaptable, being both creative and motivated to engage the children.

To be considered for this role, you must:

- Hold Qualified Teacher Status

- Have recent experience of teaching Primary Key stage 2 (and be able to provide references)

- Set high expectations of pupils behaviour, learning and achievement

- Be able to create fun and interactive lessons that inspire children

- Have a sound knowledge of Assessment – APP

- Be keen to get involved in wider school life, assisting with clubs and lending your expertise in other areas of the school
