Software Support & Development Officer (Computer Programmer, System Developer, Software Engineer, Software Architect, .Net Developer) Salary of CIRCA £30k, permeant, office based in Baglan We are looking for an innovative, experienced Software Support & Development Officer with a good knowledge of programming languages such as .Net, SQL or C# to join our Technology and Innovation department. You will work as part of the Business Development team in a customer facing role, supporting existing applications and developing new features and systems utilising existing and emerging technologies to support the organisation in its day to day activities A ‘can do’, positive, customer focused attitude is a must to succeed in this role. You will be expected to: Provide technical support for line of business applications. Develop, maintain and upgrade ICT services and systems to ensure they remain aligned with business requirements. To contribute to all phases of the software development life cycle including analysis, design, coding, testing and documentation. To maintain an up to date working knowledge of advances in current and emerging technologies to deliver appropriate software solutions to support the organisation. You must enjoy or be very good at the following: Be passionate about software development and technology Be driven in guiding a product from inception through to final delivery Developing, maintaining and upgrading ICT services and systems Have excellent communication and stakeholder management skills Be highly motivated, flexible and experienced in developing software applications Delivering work packages within an agreed time frame To be considered for this job you must have: Excellent communication skills Experience in software development (UI and UX) Experience of supporting software applications A passion to utilise emerging technologies Skills and experience in programming languages and techniques e.g. .Net, SQL, API’s Self-motivation and the ability to work with minimal supervision Tai Tarian is one of the largest social landlords in Wales and has responsibility for over 9,000 properties across the Neath Port Talbot County Borough.
