Our client, an established company within the financial services sector, is seeking a part time Finance Assistant (3 days per week) to join there rapidly expanding organisation. You must be available to work Thursdays and Fridays, but with flexibility on either Tuesdays or Wednesdays. Responsibilities will include reconciliations, assisting in Purchase Ledger, general administration etc.

Key Responsibilities

* Daily bank reconciliations for multiple bank accounts

* Weekly profit reconciliations between Sage cashbook downloads and IsCT (transaction system)

* ‘Safeguarding’ reconciliations between client money on IsCT and Sage and selling currency

* Purchase Ledger – inputting invoices and payment runs

* Other ad-hoc duties as requested by the Financial Controller

Special Requirements:

* System knowledge of Sage 200 (desirable)

* Experience of bank/other reconciliations

* Proficient in Microsoft Office Excel

* Strong organizational and self-management skills

* Well organised with the ability to prioritise and meet deadlines

* Excellent communication /interpersonal skills

* Good team player with the ability to operate in a fast-paced environment

* An energetic, confident self-starter with experience of working within the FX industry/regulated financial services environment
