We’re currently seeking to recruit a Service Engineer, to work within a fast-growing business that is leading the market from the front. Not only will you be working for one of the country’s leading Packaging Companies, you will also get to work for a company that doesn’t just treat you as a number!

You’ll provide onsite service installation and training to clients and customers within the UK. Assisting in other technical service tasks such as breakdown repair and routine service.

This position comes with a Company Car, Mobile and Expenses Card.

Your main duties as a Service Engineer will include, but aren’t limited to:

* Repairing, Installing and Maintaining machines on customer sites.

* Delivering service and support to customers

* Accurately processing and recording all support incidents

* Gathering information and determining the issues by assessing and analysing symptoms

* Building a positive rapport with customers

* Following standard processes and procedures

Ideally, you’ll have one or more of the following qualifications/skills:

* HNC/ONC or equivalent in specified subject

* Relevant experience of being a Service Engineer, ideally in a Packaging type environment

* Ability to install, test and repair electronic service equipment

* Highly motivated to deliver the best possible service to customers

* Strong verbal and written communicator to report into management level

* Problem resolution skills

Service Engineer Shifts:

Mon – Thursday – 0730hrs- 1630hrs

Friday - 0730hrs- 1330hrs

Overtime is paid at 1.5 hours
