A corporate client based in London Bridge are looking for a Temporary Finance Assistant/Credit Controller to start as soon as possible.

This position will be on a temporary basis and with potential of becoming long term for the right candidate.

London Bridge | 9am – 5:30pm | full -time | £11ph | Tech Industry

Finance Duties:

* Assist in day to day activity such as monitoring the accounts payable mail box, processing supplier invoices.

* Reconciling supplier accounts and dealing with any queries

* Preparing supplier payment runs

* Liaising with different departments to authorising stock and partner commission invoices

* Scanning invoices and documents onto Access Dimensions

Credit Control Duties:

* Chase payment for overdue invoices

* Manage the inbox and deal with queries

* Send out reminder notices

* Allocate payments to the correct account

* Liaise with internal departments to resolve invoice disputes

* Establish and review credit limits & risk profiles on a regular basis

Purchase Ledger duties include:

* Print and enter invoices on Access Dimension accounts system

* Match and allocate payments against supplier statements

* Ensure invoices are approved internally

* Help to maintain prepayment and accrual schedules

* Ensure invoices are posted to correct nominal ledgers

Experience and Qualifications Required:

* Must have good analytic skills and be able to work through and solve any issues that may arise from day to day

* Attention to detail is essential

* Must be able to work in a high pressure environment and still achieve targets

* Be able to meet deadlines, both daily and monthly

* Attention to detail, a proactive approach and organisation is crucial to this role

* A confident and professional attitude is vital

* Previous experience in a B2B credit control role is essential

* Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal

* Advance knowledge of the Microsoft Office especially Excel
