Nursery Assistant needed for a large Rochdale Primary School, immediate start

Empowering Learning are recruiting experienced Teaching Assistants to work across schools in Rochdale.

My school has requirements for a Teaching Assistant for their Foundation Stage to join them on a temporary ongoing basis.

The ideal applicant would have recent experience working with children in an Primary School setting. You will ideally have a formal Teaching Assistant qualification and have either paid or voluntary work experience as a TA.

You will be working under the direction of the class teacher, but you will be responsible for working with groups of children sometimes outside of the main classroom, so you must be confident to do this. You will also have very strong behaviour management and be able to hold the attention of groups of children by providing engaging and interactive sessions.

To be considered for the position you must have the following:

- Effective communication skills and the ability to build good relationships with pupils, parents and staff.

- Ability to use own initiative and be flexible.

- Ideally hold a recognised Teaching Assistant qualification
