The Digital Marketing Manager – a newly created role - will take responsibility for a number of areas, primarily focusing on social media management, SEO and PPC activities, email marketing and marketing automation programmes. You will coordinate such activities, making best use of existing and new content being produced, targeting key stakeholder groups and will ensure marketing programmes are in place across different stages of the customer lifecycle, focusing primarily on new business. You will be joining a growing and successful marketing team, focused on expanding its impact and capitalising on market opportunities in the UK, France and Asia-Pacific, and open to new ideas and new activities. This is an opportunity to establish and grow the digital marketing function, with potential to line manage the web development team. Responsibilities Establishing and reporting on KPIs and metrics Devising strategies to drive online traffic to our network of websites Optimising the network on Microlise websites to maximise conversions Tracking conversion rates and making improvements to the website, driving increased engagement. Developing and managing digital marketing campaigns. Putting in place marketing programmes to target specific groups of prospect companies, to drive engagement and new business appointments. Utilising a range of techniques including paid search, SEO and PPC, as required as part of targeted campaigns. Overseeing the social media strategy for the company, including launching and managing social channels in the UK, France, Australia and India as required. Managing the online brand and product campaigns to raise brand awareness. Improving the usability, design, content and conversion of the company websites. Working with the PR/Content Manager on content strategy Managing digital activities around Microlise events, including the Microlise Transport Conference What will make you a success in this role? Consistent, high quality, output on social media channels Effective monitoring of output and engagement Generation of regular reports and monitoring based on agreed KPIs Launch of social media channels for regions Launch of marketing automation programmes across defined stages of the customer lifecycle Monitoring, changes and then improvements seen in effectiveness of company websites Increase in website traffic and rankings for relevant terms Essential Criteria Previous experience in a similar digital marketing role. Experience managing PPC, SEO and Affiliate programmes. Strong understanding of current online marketing concepts, strategy and best practice. Experience in SEO, PPC, Email marketing, and social media. Advantageous: Bachelor degree in Marketing. Qualified member of the CIM or equivalent. French language skills. Video editing skills.
