Graduate Embedded Software Engineer
A pioneering Cambridge Company seeks a creative Graduate Embedded Software Engineer to work on the design and development of the products and tools which implement and complement their unique sound recognition systems. With a strong academic background and an interest in audio applications, the successful Graduate Engineer will haver proven C and Python skills, experience developing under Linux and Unix and will have previous experience with optimisation and debugging on embedded platforms including ARM. This challenging Graduate Embedded Software role will give you exposure to some of the most advanced consumer technology, with a dynamic company enabling a new generation of smart products to hear and react to the sounds around us. Key Skills required for Graduate Embedded Software Engineer: • Good Masters Degree in Computer Science or similar. • Embedded Software development in C. • Experience of Python. • Developing under Linux / Unix. • Debugging on embedded platforms. • Also good to have: Audio Signal processing skills, developer level testing, an understanding of security and cryptography principles, knowledge of hardware architecture, familiarity with Jira and Git, customer facing experience.
