As a result of our client's continued expansion, they have a number of exciting new opportunities for ambitious and dynamic software developers to join their team in Cheshire in a permanent role. Successful candidates will join their agile team focused on the development of a new scalable SaaS platform. Our client has formed a sister company to develop a new SaaS brand that is being designed to be become market leader in its field. Our client have roles for both frontend and backend developers. In the team your work will involve the design and development of a solution built across a number of different technology stacks. This position represents an excellent opportunity for talented developers to join the early pioneers developing this unique solution. Front End Developer: Proficient in Javascript A strong experience working with SDKs and APIs such as SOAP/XML, REST/JSON Experience with some of the following is desirable: Javascript frameworks (React, Backbone, jQuery, Angular etc.) Javascript testing frameworks (Mocha, Jasmine) HTML 5 Bootstrap js CSS Jira Jenkins Git Groovy Grunt Grails Mobile App Developer (Cross Platform – Not Native): Proficient in Javascript A strong experience working with SDKs and APIs such as SOAP/XML, REST/JSON Experience with some of the following is desirable: Angular Ionic Cordova Android SDK XCode Javascript testing frameworks (Protractor, Mocha, Jasmine) Jira Jenkins Git Backend Developer: Proficient in Java with a sound understanding of object-oriented concepts A thorough understanding of SQL and an RDBMS such as PostgreSQL A strong experience working with SDKs and APIs such as SOAP/XML, REST/JSON Experience of working with continuous integration, TDD and automated testing frameworks Maven builds Linux based OS experience Experience with some of the following is desirable: SQL Apache PostgreSQL Jira Jenkins Apache Karaf Eclipse IDE Additional for all roles: A passion for software development, with the ability to learn and adapt to newer languages and technologies A good team-player Driven self-starter, highly motivated Excellent communication and organisational skills A calm, analytical approach to problem solving Comfortable working in an Agile environment focused on short delivery timescales.
