Financial Services Area Manager

A leading estate agency and financial services provider are currently looking for an area manager to join their team in Surrey/Bracknell

Key Responsibilities:

·To drive sales activity from staff/ advisers, in particular through one to one performance review meetings, generation of local league tables, positive success PR and personal contact

·To escalate underperformance to Directors and put in place individual action plans to rectify (performance management)

·To provide FS related training to all relevant FS advisers/ staff in appointment making with particular emphasis on getting new starters up and running quickly

·To oversee the induction/mentoring of new FS employed advisers with particular emphasis on ensuring the correct branch environment is created and that appointments are delivered from adviser start date to ensure new advisers start writing business quickly

·To ensure time management of the adviser’s dairies to maximise productivity

·Work with the compliance team to ensure best practice processes are followed and advice is of the highest quality and in line with MAB & FCA guidelines

·Support advisors to enhance their sales processes for appointments (booking, undertaking and follow up) to maximise their conversions and ensure swift and efficient information gathering and presentation for compliance purposes.

·Work with the compliance team to support advisors through their compliance and knowledge training and CPD responsibilities to ensure their ability to trade and make best use of the company product offering is maximised.

·To drive adviser recruitment activity and attend interviews and recruitment evenings

·To further develop FS penetration of lettings, New Homes and Commercial, in particular ensuring that we have adequate adviser coverage for new homes launches and that advisers have sufficient prior information when attending such events

·To hit personal written business targets until achieving and maintaining a full team of advisers

Tasks:

·To attend Branches to meet review performance on branch and individual basis and train underperformers

·To attend Broker performance reviews and recommend actions to FS Directors

·To attend weekly conference calls

·To get involved and act as an intermediary on all disputes/complaints from branches related to FS related matters and give advice to FS Directors

·To attend corporate conferences and functions which may take place outside of standard contracted hours

·To support and enable the completion of personal development plans required through the compliance process

·To keep in regular contact with all main contacts of FS and report on agreed items to them
