Sewell Wallis are working with a forward thinking, design, distribution and installation company who are looking to recruit a new Assistant Accountant. The role will be working for a new company in the group, co-ordinating with the Commercial, Design and Sales office. This is an exciting opportunity to work in a very supportive work environment with great benefits, with the potential for progression.

Duties include :-

- Labour and costing analysis

- Sales & Purchase Ledger

- Credit card & staff expenses

- Weekly Payroll

- PAYE / CIS

- Maintain Fixed Asset Register

- VAT

- Booking travel for Managing Director & Senior Managers

- Co-ordination of stocktake and reconciliations

- Assisting with year-end audit & preparation of audit file

A successful candidate must :-

- Be comfortable working with excel

- Have knowledge of Sage 50

- Be comfortable with potential travel

- Be a good team player

- Show responsibility for their duties

- Maintain high standards of work
