A leading Global Financial Institution is seeking to employ a Senior Cash Consultant, Global Liquidity & Cash Management (GLCM) based in Birmingham.

Hours 35 per week/permanent.

The Senior Cash Consultant, Global Liquidity & Cash Management (GLCM) will be uniquely positioned to help clients make payments across borders, across currencies and regulations, quickly and cost effectively with dedicated in country and regional support and this area is repeatedly recognised by the industry’s most prominent publications and associations with numerous global, regional and country awards. Additionally, they will achieve revenue for the Group by originating leads, building and maintaining strategic relationships with new and existing clients in order to identify and sell innovative cash and clearing management solutions to the Corporate segment.

The Senior Cash Consultant, Global Liquidity & Cash Management (GLCM) will be accountable for managing a client portfolio in order to maintain existing, and generate new income for the organisation whilst managing costs within plan and keep losses to a minimum. They maintain close liaison with key stakeholders so as to provide input to the strategic direction of the business, the functionality and launch of new products and services. They will also work with key stakeholders including, but not limited to CMB (Commercial Banking), Product Development, Client Management to ensure a positive client experience.

The Senior Cash Consultant, Global Liquidity & Cash Management (GLCM) will play a key role in keeping the management informed of progress / major obstacles towards delivering client centric solutions. Moreover, they will ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.

The successful candidate will be a graduate and will have the following attributes:

  • Proven experience coupled with a clear understanding of Risk Management within GLCM.
  • Proven experience within Sales or Business Development.
  • Track record of successfully identifying and developing significant and complex business propositions.
  • Built effective networks both internally and externally and created opportunities for others to work collaboratively.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to influence and negotiate at senior level.
