IBA ACCOUNTS CLERK (Maternity Cover)

£20,000 - £23,000pa (Pro-rata)

Billericay, Essex

Our client based in Billericay is looking for an experienced Insurance Broking Accounts Clerk to cover maternity leave for approximately 9 months. This role is to start ASAP and will involve a handover. Previous experience working within an Insurance Broking environment is essential as our client is looking for someone able to “hit the ground running”. Experience of Open GI would be a distinct advantage for this role.

THE IBA ACCOUNTS CLERK ROLE:-

• Allocating monies received on a daily basis onto various systems

• Banking Cheques received

• Reconcile Insurer accounts and make settlements within agreed terms of credit

• Liaise with Insurers and Account Handlers re premium and commission queries

• Ability to prioritise and organise your own workload, but also work within a team and provide support when required

• Credit Control

• Reconciling Bank Statements and maintaining in house Cashbooks

• Creating and settling of items to be settled via a Bordereau

EXPERIENCE REQUIRED FOR THE IBA ACCOUNTS CLERK ROLE:-

• Knowledge of Open GI would be a distinct advantage

• Previous experience of working as an IBA Clerk within an Insurance Broking environment essential

• Good knowledge of Excel and Word

HOURS AND BENEFITS FOR THE IBA ACCOUNTS CLERK ROLE:-

Hours 9am – 5pm Monday to Friday

25 days holiday (pro-rata)

Parking is on a 1st come 1st serve basis
