This is a position that can offer a Supplier Quality Engineer or Subcontract Procurement Manager the opportunity to join a manufacturer and distributor of precision machined components for the global oil & gas industry.

You have the opportunity to apply for a Subcontract Supplier Manager position for a company who have joined a group who already have a diverse manufacturing and distribution network worldwide! Employing the most up to date CNC technology, supported by a wide range of automated and manual machines, they have the production capability and capacity for large, medium and small manufacturing batch quantities and maintains exceptionally high quality standards on all the products it supplies.

OVERVIEW:

Working as Subcontract Supplier Manager, you will support the daily operations along with performing other administrative functions within the manufacturing facility.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

The duties and responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to:

- Working directly with current suppliers to subcontract existing and new business, as well as finding and developing new subcontract suppliers

- Introducing, developing and maintaining a supplier scorecard system to ensure that suppliers are working effectively across all areas

- Supporting the Procurement team as required

ABOUT YOU:

- You will be able to communicate well at all levels, both verbally and written and be a good influencer

- You will ideally have a technical knowledge of CNC Machining

- You will be able to demonstrate strong organisational skills, working within a fast paced environment and be able to prioritise effectively, with a keen eye for detail

- You may be required to travel to other areas of the business, within Europe and potentially beyond and must be open to this.

- Ideally, you will have at least 2 years experience in purchasing raw materials & finished products and have a proven record of supplier development
