Sewell Wallis are working exclusively with a prestigious service based business located in Leeds City Centre recruiting for an Accounts Payable Clerk. This highly reputable business are looking for an Accounts Payable Clerk who has in depth knowledge of accounts payable and statement reconciliation process. This progressive company offers first class training, opportunity for progression along with excellent benefits and perks such as an onsite gym. You will join a large friendly team of 20 based in an immaculate, open plan office reporting to the Finance Manager.

Role: Accounts Payable Clerk
Location: Leeds City Centre
Salary: up to £23,000 depending on experience

Duties and responsibilities of the Accounts Payable Clerk:

• Preparing reconciliations across all offices internationally
• Responsible for identifying areas of risk and recommending solutions to make processes more efficient
• Promptly dealing with queries in relation to supplier statement reconciliations
• Investigating queries ensuring they are resolved in a timely manner
• Build relationships with key stakeholders and internal/ external customers
• Design processes for invoice reconciliation and analysis

Skills and qualities we are looking for:

• Have good Excel skills with the ability to produce reports for internal and external purposes
• Able to understand and analyse aged creditor reports
• Accuracy is essential, with the ability wot work under pressure, particularly at month end and other key points throughout the year.
• Proven ability to deal with high volume workloads, and to work on own initiative
• Previous background in a legal or professional services background would be advantageous
