Full time Mon to Fri 9.00-5.30pm

Based in Loughborough

JR Personnel are an employment agency acting on behalf of a client who is looking for an Accounts Assistant/Book Keeper to join their finance team.

Role description:

* To effectively manage the purchase ledger process

* Post invoices / credits to the purchase ledger

* Liaise with department heads to resolve any queries between purchase order, delivery note and invoice

* Reconcile supplier statements to ledger

* To produce management accounts, trial balance sheets and P & L

* To be responsible for payroll, & commission reports, debtor chasing and pension contributions

* Lots of ad hoc tasks

Person specification:

* Minimum of AAT level 3, level 4 preferred – or qualification through experience

* Familiarity with Sage Payroll 50

* Experience in Purchase Ledger activities and credit control would be helpful.

* SAP Business One experience if possible

* Intermediate to advanced Excel
