Manufacturing Engineer - St Neots
My client based in St Neots, is a well-established, expanding electronics company. They are seeking an experienced, proactive Manufacturing Engineer to oversee production of electronics for the aerospace industry.
You will have a great work-life balance, as the hours are as follows: 8.00am to 5. 00pm Mon-Thurs and 8.00am to 1.00pm Fri. This is a permanent, full time position.

Duties of the Manufacturing Engineer:
• The Manufacturing Engineer will be responsible for undertaking manufacturing tasks related to the development and production of electronic and electro-mechanical assemblies.
• You will support the Engineering Department to ensure manufacturability of new designs as well as assisting with the development of new projects and technologies.
• You will manage product costs throughout the development phase of a project and into production.
• The Manufacturing Engineer will also work closely with other departments to ensure all customer requirements have been met.
• You will support the MRB process, with root cause and corrective action activities.
• Finally, you will be responsible for creating and maintaining a safe working environment.

Essential Skills:
• To be considered for the role of Manufacturing Engineer you will ideally hold a minimum of a BTEC Level 3 in Manufacturing Engineering (or equivalent).
• You must also have experience in an electronics manufacturing environment.
• You will ideally have experience of Lean Manufacturing Principles and be proficient with Windows and Microsoft Office.
• You will be confident to work independently, thrive when under pressure and working to deadlines, and will enjoy a collaborative team environment.
