With the enthusiastic team at the heart and soul of the company, Zip World is passionate about providing nothing short of excellent customer service and the most thrilling experiences and events, and is now on the lookout for an enthusiastic Events Coordinator to take the lead in organising the ZipRoc Festival, which will take place for the second year running on the 15th of June 2019.
A festival of quality music and entertainment, ZipRoc is held in aid of the Love Hope Strength Foundation and will be set against the impressive backdrop of Penrhyn Quarry in North Wales.
What will this role of Events Coordinator entail?
Working as part of the Events and Marketing Team, as the Events Coordinator you will play an integral role in organising and coordinating ZipRoc, from liaising with internal and external stakeholders such as agencies, supplier and contractors, through to playing an instrumental part in ensuring the event goes off without a hitch on the day.
You will live and breathe ZipRoc, acting as the first point of contact for all event-related enquiries and taking ownership of all coordination aspects to ensure an unforgettable event for visitors.
What will I need for this Events Coordinator role?
* Proven experience of festival or event coordination and logistics
* Excellent initiative and problem solving skills
* Full UK driving licence
What will I receive in return?
As the Events Coordinator you will receive an hourly pay rate in the region of £10 to £12 (equivalent to a full time salary of £25,000 per year), level dependent on experience.
You’ll be employed on a full time, temporary contract over a 4 month period. Hours will vary from week to week dependent on your workload, and will likely increase as you get closer to the festival date.
You’ll primarily work from Zip World’s head office in Llanrwst, however there will be frequent travel required to the Penrhyn Quarry site
