Teaching Personnel are working in partnership with our client school to recruit a Science teacher on a permanent basis ahead of the new academic year.

Due to a recent restructure in the school’s Science department, the Headteacher of a large secondary Academy has an opportunity for any Science teacher looking for their next step forward in their career.

Key aspects of this Science teacher post:

* Science teacher required at a secondary school in Wigan

* Full-time permanent position starting from September 2019

* Teaching a full Science curriculum across KS3 and KS4 (Biology, Chemistry and Physics)

* Pay in line with MPS/UPS - £23,720 - £39,406

The successful Science teacher will take on full departmental responsibility, including the delivery of well prepared and inspiring Science lessons and strong classroom control to drive high pupil attainment in the subject.

Our client secondary school based in Wigan, is a fairly large academy and is proudly apart of a reputable education Trust across the North West. Since becoming a part of this trust, the school has made significant progress on the whole, most noticeably in pupil attainment across all departments and in behaviour. The incoming Science teacher will join a caring and inclusive community for both teachers and pupils. The school boats outstanding learning facilities and is looking for a Science teacher to join their team who will encourage pupil to reach their full potential and through a needs-led curriculum.

The secondary school is situated just outside of Wigan town centre, making it very accessible for all Science teachers applying for the role. For those who drive, the school is accessible via the A577 and is located next to frequent and reliable public transport links for non drivers.
