Do you have experience working within the insurance sector? Perhaps you are currently working in banking/ financial services but looking to specialise in the general insurance sector? Alternatively you may have great front facing sales/ customer service experience and be looking for a career change to start 2019 with a bang! We are working in partnership with a national insurance broker who pride themselves on delivering great service at a local level to help them recruit an Insurance Consultant to join their busy team.

The role is very varied and will involve producing new business quotes, insurance administration (change of address/ vehicles etc), contacting customers to renew and helping them through the claims process.

The successful candidate will be able to:

Deal confidently with clients both face to face and over the phone

Cultivate and maintain excellent relationships

Demonstrate strong communication skills and an enthusiastic sales ability

Ideally, you will have a good standard of general education with a background in either insurance or sales, banking or finance. This is not essential, however, as full training will be given including the opportunity to study for nationally recognised professional qualifications. The company have a strong policy to support in house promotion so you have plenty of scope to progress, as your skills develop. Prosects for career progression are excellent and your contribution will be fully acknowledged and rewarded.
