Business Application Support Analyst (L2)

Contract, London

We are seeking the services of an experienced Business Application Support Analyst who will play a key role in providing application triage, technical support and data analysis for a portfolio of customer-facing lifecycle management applications. The applications support the licensing process from E2E, so we are seeking someone with particular knowledge of this process.

The successful Analyst will demonstrate a track record in Business Application support, with a minimum of 2-3 years’ experience in App Support roles, supporting bespoke and/or complex application suites.

Role & Responsibilities

• Responsible for delivering on-going L2 Operational support for the business application portfolio (these inclusive IPM, CLM & API applications)

• Conducting analysis and supporting a range of applications

• Support users through the licensing approval process

• Perform daily applications support, respond, triage or escalate incidents

• Incident and Problem Management within agreed SLA’s

• Assist in the recovery of major system outages

• Escalate and seek advice from L3/Development teams on complex issues

• Working within an ITIL Framework

• Ensuring that customer expectations are managed, and service delivery is met with a within a demanding user base

Candidate Specification/Experience

• Relevant Business and/or Computer Science degree with at three years’ experience in IT, preferably in a support role.

• A minimum of 2 to 3 years' experience working in a business application support role and supporting bespoke systems

• Excellent interpersonal and relationship building skills

• Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment

• SOX’s awareness and compliance

• Understanding of Contract Administration, Revenue Accounting and Forecast & Planning principle

• Excellent telephone manner with great communication skills both written and oral, able to articulate complex ideas in succinct, business terms without the use of technical jargon.

• Demonstrated ability to complete assignments with speed, accuracy, and quality

• Licensees Lifecycle Management

• Intellectual Property Asset Management

• Effective use of Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and SharePoint
