Engineering Manager (Service/Facilities)


Circa £44,000 + Holidays + Pension + Training and Progression Opportunities + Further Benefits to be Discussed.

Days 45 Hour Week.

Engineering Service Manager role available for a well-established family run food manufacturing company. This is an important role for the company which holds great responsibility with potential progression. The role will suit Engineering Service Managers or Engineering Managers with relevant experience looking for more responsibility.

Candidates must hold an electrical qualification to ONC or equivalent and transfer from an FMCG environment. Candidates from a food manufacturing background will hold a considerable advantage. Candidates must have proven electrical maintenance experience and be confident with PLC fault finding. A good mechanical knowledge is needed.

The role will involve roughly 50% hands on maintenance and 50% management responsibilities of a team of engineers, ancillary personal and external contractors. The role will predominantly be production management however it will also involve facilities management. You will be responsible for the organisation and control of contractors, maintenance schedules and overseeing day to day job requests.

The Role:

* 50% Hands on. 50% Management

The Person Required:

* Electrical Qualification to ONC or equivalent

* Good Mechanical knowledge

* PLC Fault Finding Experience

* FMCG Background
