We are seeking an experienced Service Manager with experience of Managing Field Service Teams within the Engineering sector. A background in Field Service and previous experience with Lifting Equipment would be highly advantageous

The role of Service Manager

* Reporting to the Branch Manager

* To lead and motivate a field-based service team

* To manage all maintenance and Service contracts

* Provide technical support to Service Technicians

* To assist Estimators with Quotations

* Assist in establishing training needs and recruitment requirements

* To drive the performance of the service business

* To ensure delivery of services within promised timescales

* To ensure the highest levels of customer satisfaction

The ideal candidate for the role of Service Manager

* Will have a background in Field Service

* Will have Engineering experience (ideally in the lifting equipment / crane or other relevant industrial maintenance sector)

* Will have experience of successfully leading a remote Field Service team

* Will be motivated by delivering the highest levels of customer satisfaction

* Will have a keen eye for detail and the ability to effectively communicate at all levels

* Basic financial and business acumen would be a distinct advantage

* Will be keen to further develop their career with a progressive organisation
