Pursuit Resources are currently recruiting for a Retail National Account Manager for our client, a global, multi-billion pound, industry-leading company, who are growing rapidly! The successful candidate will proactively manage and grow the company business with Tesco stores Ltd across their portfolio of gaming and consumer electronics products increasing their profile and maximising all profit opportunities within this account ensuring achievement of agreed targets.

Key duties include:

* Develop and maintain new and current business within the account.

* Develop an in-depth knowledge of the account and the profit opportunities.

* Maintain and develop business relationships across the customer and vendor base.

* Work closely with our internal product managers & our suppliers feeding back retail requirements and driving demand. (Work on securing promotional opportunities and range opportunities within store and online.)

* Accurately forecast the sales demand and review with sales management against the budget plan.

* Review on a monthly basis previous month’s performance and forecast out based upon current sell through.

* Create and update price lists/category planning forms.

* Proactively manage your customer sales out and create forecasting plans to meet customer SLA.

* Create, plan and execute range review proposals in line with your customers range planning schedule.

* Arrange and hold regular category review meetings.

Our client is looking for:

* You will need to have a proven track record managing major national accounts, experience managing multimillion £ categories with direct experience of the retail sector preferable, the ability to manage complex supply relationships is essential.

* You will have a consultative approach to selling, delivering solutions that grow profitability and market share for all key stakeholders through proactive category management.

* A flexible and agile approach to your work coupled with excellent negotiation and problem-solving skills is essential.

* The ability to add value at every step of the sales cycle is a must have, as is the ability to spot profitable opportunities and develop go to market strategies, that enable you to succeed in this fast paced and demanding environment.

* Demonstrate excellent communication skills (particularly presentation).

* Be confident & tenacious.

* Show excellent commercial awareness.
