Our client are an educational services company based in Kenilworth and due to expansion require a Data Business Manager to join their team.

Key Responsibilities

·Management of school data reports

·Marketing and sales of school data products and services (including training) with support from the marketing manager

·Develop new and maintain existing school data products with the assistance of the business IT manager and other support areas

·Process, manage and quality check reports written by education consultants

·Maintain security of school data at all times in line with security standards (including ISO27001 and GDPR requirements)

·Manage and administer the customer records relating to the school data including the tracking of product delivery

·Project based support for other business areas and functions

·Operational and project support to other areas

·Be a team player, undertaking all tasks big and small for benefit of the business

·Work in line with plans developed and communicated by line manager

·Communicate courteously with customers by telephone, email, letter and face-to-face

Personal Qualities and Skills

·Excellent numeric and analysis skills

·Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written

·Strong organisational skills

·Be highly computer literate and very comfortable in quickly familiarising themselves with new IT systems

·Microsoft office user with desire to develop Excel skills to a higher level

·Excellent rapport building and people skills

·Be proactive, empathic and keen to learn

·Have confidence, patience, courtesy, tact and diplomacy when dealing with customers and staff

·Be willing to work hard, possibly extra hours where workload demands

·Have an interest in helping people through excellent customer service

·Have the ability to operate at all levels internally and externally

·Knowledge of schools and their working practices, ideally from working in school (ideal but not essential)

General Duties

·Update job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities, reading relevant publications and attending networking events

·Take part in any project work deemed necessary by the team

·Ensure that all your practices adhere to information security policies, procedures and legislation
