ICT Support Technician (1st/2nd Line) – Northampton / Bedford
Up to £27,000 (Full Time, Permanent), 25 days holiday (+ bank hols) and benefits INCLUDING mileage between school sites.

* THIS IS AN URGENT REQUIREMENT *

Our client, a leading Independent Schools Group are looking for an experienced ICT Support Technician to provide day-to-day ICT support for the staff and students at two of their school sites.

As the ICT Support Technician, you will primarily be based at the school site in Northampton and will be required 1 – 2 days each week to support the ICT activities of a second school in Bedford.

Your main duties will include liaising with the School staff and ICT Service Desk to identify, prioritise and resolve all ICT support and service requests plus managing the ICT support activities for the two schools.

To be considered for this role, you must have previous experience supporting IT within a school or college and be able to drive, with access to a car or motorbike.

Essential Technical skills include :

• Windows Server 2008 / 2012 (Administration)
• Active Directory and Group Policy
• Windows 7 / 8 / 10
• MS Office 10 / 13 / 365 / suites
• LAN / WAN
• DNS / DHCP
• VLAN
• SIMS support

Any experience of Wireless technologies, Apple Macs, iPads and VM Ware is also highly desirable.
