Salary: Circa £30k, DOE

We are excited to be working with this leading, growing brand, who are expanding their marketing team, with a new requirement for a Content / Creative Marketing Manager. The role will be varied and requires a creative, forward thinking marketer who has a passion for writing, content and social media.

The role will see the successful candidate driving the brand and their pioneering product ranges forward through both B2C and B2B markets. Working across various departments, you’ll use your exceptional creative writing and communication skills to build exciting and engaging content to share across all channels, whilst forging and maintaining excellent relationships with our client’s network of influencers.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Our client prides themselves on being market leaders within their sector and have global ambitions to move forward in this respect. Critical to this goal, your role will be to strengthen the brand with considered, brilliant content.

* Working with the Creative Director and Marketing Manager you will gain a thorough understanding of the brand guidelines.

* You will aid the evolution of the brand tone of voice, implementing changes to the brand book as and when approved.

* You will work with the senior management team to analyse and decide upon creative campaign direction.

* Acquire and develop an outstanding level of technical product knowledge covering the full product range.

* In alignment with campaign direction, you will write all associated supporting copy for advertising, press releases, blog posts and social posts.

* You’ll manage all content for the website including blog, news, case studies, gallery and team pages.

* Work closely with the digital team to understand effective keyword copywriting to optimise SEO rankings.

* Build case studies and populate them onto the website

* Work alongside the Marketing Manager to build and manage email marketing campaigns, with responsibility for the weekly campaigns, sourcing assets from the media team and working with the Digital Marketing Manager to successfully complete all campaigns on time.

* Manage and build a social following, creating all social posts.

* Measure social engagement to evolve content direction with the marketing team.

* You’ll help manage and build the founder profile through social activity as part of the wider marketing strategy.

* Encourage consumer reviews, feefo, google, facebook.

* Research new online potential to share new content outside of the regular channels.

* You will proactively source and suggest new partnerships and work alongside the management team to successfully build great relationships in international territories.

* You will keep yourself up to date with creative trends in the market, ensuring that the brand content is always current, on the back of this.

What our client is looking for:

* You will need to have proven experienced at creative copywriting and be able to demonstrate this with examples of previous written work, in your cv application process.

* You will be a creative thinker with great brand understanding.

* Excellent communication skills with a confident presence and the ability to work with people at all levels.

* Have the confidence to put forward creative ideas and present yourself in face to face meetings, building rapport and respect, quickly and effectively.

* You’ll be tenacious and resilient with a hunger to succeed.

* Someone with an understanding of lifestyle brands and how to protect brand equity.

* You will need to be highly organized with the ability to work on multiple projects at the same time – both independently or within a team environment.

COMPETENCIES AND EXPERIENCE

* A degree in Marketing, English Literature or English Language or advanced experience in copywriting.

* An exceptional understanding of social media and campaigns.

* Commercially astute with a collaborative and engaging approach – used to working in organisations where teamwork and an agile approach to problem-solving, is the norm.

* Sound knowledge of computer-based software, experience with Adobe Photoshop, MailChimp, campaign monitor, Indesign and WordPress.

* Great communication skills with the ability to present openly and effectively across all levels, and in different environments.

* Able to adapt content to localised tones in international territories.

* Able to manage time, effort and resources between short-term tactical opportunities versus medium/long-term strategic opportunities.
