Account Executive - Fund Data Sales

Sector: Professional Services

Location: Central London

Salary: £40-45,000 basic plus £65,000 uncapped OTE

  • Selling data & ratings on investment funds into Asset Management, Financial Advisors & Wealth Management companies
  • Providing crucial information to investment firms to help them make informed decisions
  • Closing new business face to face with C-Level executives

The Role:

As an Account Executive, your job will be to manage an existing book of business, won by the Inside Sales & Business Development team, with Asset Management firms across Europe, maximise those revenue opportunities & provide Account Management. Working for one of the 5 main players in this space, you will have the advantage of a well-established & trusted brand at your disposal.

The role will entail renewals, upselling & cross selling, throughout the lifecycle of the account once won, including several meetings with clients and closing deals, typically in the region of £50K per client. Our client offers a broad plethora of services & products which can be sold into these financial services clients.

This mature and established business will provide you with all the support functions required to allow you to perform at your maximum capacity (Marketing, Account Management, Finance & Legal). Having recently hired a new CEO, our client is looking to elevate their business to new heights and see this Business Development Manager role as being a key part of that process.

As Business Development Manager, your responsibilities will include:

  • Managing accounts proactively
  • Maximising client spend in line with client requirements
  • Achieving a revenue target

For this position, we are looking for individuals who meet the following criteria:

  • A background in both new business & account management, preferably within the profession or financial services space
  • Experienced in telephone & face to face sales
  • Articulate, presentable, and commercially astute
