Facilities Managers position has become available working with one of the largest Facilities Management providers in the UK. This a full time permanent position based at a client site in Derby, supporting the second largest contract with Facilities Management company has. It’s a great opportunity to apply your skills across all service lines hard and soft services and build on your current experience

The Role:

* Responsible for delivering FM services to the client estate, taking overall responsibility for the on-site teams, subcontractors and the mobile support

* Ensure the smooth running and development of the client estate to meet the commercial and contractual criteria, and ensure health and safety compliance at all times

* Provide regular, measured feedback to management and stakeholders

* Fully understand and meet client’s expectations and be fully conversant with the contract document and associated KPIs and ensure that services are organised to meet those expectations.

Main Duties:

* Support the senior management team in all aspects of the services being delivered

* Undertake site audits according to the agreed schedule(s) and format in order to demonstrate service delivery compliance and to aid in the creation of action plans to improve service delivery

* Develop effective relations with the supply chain structure, monitor performance, undertake and record monthly meetings in order to improve service delivery standards, identify and resolve issues, manage health and safety risks, and develop services and cost saving initiatives in line with the contract requirements

* Monitor and review management information to track trends in good/poor performing buildings and service lines to drive continuous improvement

* Identify, review, manage and minimise contractual risk

* Undertake performance monitoring in line with the KPIs

* Ensure the adherence to agreed standards throughout the life of the contract

* Assist specialist teams in project management across the client estate as necessary, provide strategic advice for all project works, and ensure our contractual KPI requirements are met. Carry out reviews of projects

* Ownership and resolution of all escalations relating to the client estate and responsibilities

Required:

* Experience at management level

* Experience of FM of multiple site locations

* Holds relevant professional, technical or management qualifications;

* Strong engagement and influencing skills capable of effecting cultural change;

* Good financial skills and knowledge of financial processes, with an in-depth understanding of P&L responsibilities;

* Analytical thinker with demonstrated problem-solving skills;

* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills;

* Excellent organisational and influencing skills;
