Finance/Accounts Manager

About the role:

Working at the clients Head Office working Monday to Friday office based hours.

You will be part of a small Finance Team managing a team of 2 dealing with the day to day accounts administration which will include:

* Sales and Purchase Ledger

* Producing the businesses monthly management accounts

* Design and deliver effective financial procedures

* Controlling cash flow and expenditure

* Managing the cashbook

* Payments to suppliers

* Expense reporting

* Ensuring financial compliance

* VAT Reporting

* Responsible for Credit Control

* Produce and review Management Accounts

* Managing the small team, dealing with 121's and performance management

Candidate skills and experience:

* Experience of working for a manufacturing business

* Finance Assistant / Management skills

* Excellent numeracy and literacy skills

* Strong attention to detail

* Commercial acumen

Candidate qualifications:

* Ideally qualified or part qualified CIMA, ACA, ACCA

* Experience of working in a manufacturing environment

The client is looking for a candidate with a "can do attitude" have the ability to promote an excellent working environment for their team.

The client may also consider a candidate that has the relevant finance experience but may have not managed a team but has the ability and wants that next step up.
