Based in the depot, you as a Mechanical Engineer with Speedy will be a key part of the depot operations. A productive workshop means equipment is always available for our customers, which in turn, keeps the customer happy.

Main responsibilitiesOn a day-to-day basis, you can expect to be working directly with other engineers in the depot and liaising regularly with drivers and the hire desk team to ensure repairs and maintenance is prioritised effectively.
Hands on, you will find yourself performing mechanical repairs and servicing on our range of diesel generators, compressors and pumps.

Whilst your role will need you to demonstrate the responsibility to work alone, we work proudly with a team culture so adaptability and communication are key. Strong mechanical skills and able to use tools effectively
