35 hours per week (7 hours per day), Monday - Friday
£40,000 - £45,000 per annum dependant on experience

We are looking for a Management Accountant to support the Finance Director, responsible for maintaining all aspects of financial accounting, reporting and analysis for the Trust.

You’ll be responsible for the production of monthly, quarterly and annual management accounts and ensuring key control and major balance sheet accounts are reconciled on a monthly basis (accruals, prepayments, payroll, intercompany, fixed assets, general ledger).

Other key requirements include but not limited to preparation of quarterly VAT returns and ONS statistics, assisting in preparation of annual budgets and cash flow management, preparation of board packs and committee reports where necessary and participating and supporting the Finance Director on ad-hoc finance projects and system reviews.

We are seeking someone who has a degree or equivalent qualification, as well as a relevant professional accounting qualification (CIMA, ACCA, ACA).

Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel is essential, and experience with Microsoft Dynamics or similar accounting packages would be advantageous.

The relevant person will have a high level of attention to detail with the ability to identify, analyse and resolve issues in financial control.

Whilst having the ability to work independently, you must be able to work collaboratively with your colleagues, assisting in leading the team by way of professional example and enthusiasm.

You will have excellent written and verbal communication skills, understand the importance of timely, clear and meaningful management information and observe strict confidentiality at all times.

As part of the role you will be willing to travel to the other Estates across the UK on a regular basis.
