Valeco Recruitment are on the market to recruit a permanent individual to join our established client in Midlothian who have had a rare vacancy come up reporting directly into the Chief Executive.
Based in Finance your role is to be responsible and manage planning, budgets, accounting and reporting where you will be liaising with stakeholders and executive level management.
Key duties:
Setting up systems
Managing spend against budgets
Preparing invoices
Balancing all payments
Financial analysis
Assist with internal audits in preparation of accounts for HMRC
Petty cash
Organising meetings, room bookings, catering, schedules
Manage the Finance Assistant
Preparing and distributing board papers along with many other duties.
Experience required:
* Proven track record in Finance essential
* Competent in using Word, Excel, Sage
* Able to communicate at Board level
* First class organisational and communication skills
* Competent in managing and motivating staff
