At Virgin Care, we’ve created a working environment where everyone can really feel the difference.

It’s the kind of place where nothing’s too much trouble. Where our service is seamless. Where you’ll feel empowered, listened to, valued and where we’ll support you to bring your best self to work every day. And that’s just the beginning.

Since 2006, we’ve delivered innovative and refreshing health and social care services to millions of people by developing our own unique approach where our patients are at the centre of everything we do. And right now, we’re looking for a Management Accountant to join our Finance team in the South West, based flexibly between Bath, Chippenham, Trowbridge or Salisbury to help us continue to change things for the better.

Working closely to support our Children’s services in BaNES and Wiltshire, you will be responsible for producing key management reports and assisting with the local management accounting. You will be supporting the production of the monthly business unit performance reports which include the management accounts, variance analysis and commentaries, and forecasts. You will be producing insightful and impactful timely information to help drive business improvements, ensuring the process disciplines and controls are adhered to and seek opportunities to recommend improvements to internal controls.

Whilst building relationships with teams through the business, maintain positive relationships to provide effective customer service and support to colleagues, you will also support new bids and opportunities and other ad hoc finance valuation.

This is a great opportunity for the successful candidate who is either AAT qualified, or ACCA/CIMA/ACA part or newly qualified (qualification by experience will be considered) with several years’ experience working in an accounting role. You will be a self-starter, comfortable working in a fast paced environment and experienced in Microsoft Excel and with a keen eye for detail, and a proactive approach will ensure you deliver positive experiences to service users at every stage of their journey with Virgin Care.

But what’s in it for you? Well, we offer a competitive salary, lots of training and development, great perks including being part of the Virgin Tribe giving access to exclusive offers as well as discounts on Virgin products and services including 40% off Virgin Trains!

Virgin Care are committed to equal opportunities and welcome a broad diversity of talent to apply.
