Face to Face Wildlife Fundraiser
Location: Coventry / Stratford upon Avon / Redditch / Solihull / Bromsgrove and surrounding areas
Salary starting at: £17,276 - £18,716 per annum
Hours: Full time
Contract: Permanent
With 60% of the UK's wildlife in decline, the need has never been greater, and the RSPB is looking for people just like you to help us make a REAL difference. We are currently looking for people to join our record-breaking Midland's Face-to-Face team to do exactly that.
You would be working for the country's leading conservation charity, to help us fulfil our exciting and ambitious plans to secure a future for the diverse and beautiful nature in our region. Whether it be the majestic ancient Oaks of Sherwood Forest, stunning wetlands at Middleton Lakes and Sandwell Valley, beautiful meadows and woodlands at Coombes Valley and much, much more.
Your role as a Face to Face Wildlife Fundraiser is focussed on making new members for RSPB. You will need to be confident in achieving realistic targets that ensure we are having the greatest impact, raising vital funds for saving nature. By attending pre-booked venues of all kinds from major shows to garden centres, you will connect with like-minded individuals and families, and inspire them to support us.
Full training, equipment and branded clothing, together with the use of a vehicle is provided. In addition, you will get the full support of our Midlands team as well as the pride in knowing that what you are doing is genuinely changing the fate of nature in your region.
Because we want to connect with as many people as possible, the role includes weekend working (3 out of 4), together with some unsociable hours. A full driving licence is essential, and you would need to be comfortable driving and loading/unloading a small van.
If you feel able to meet the challenge, then we are waiting to meet you!
This post is to cover: Coventry, Stratford upon Avon, Redditch, Solihull, Bromsgrove and surrounding areas. We can offer flexibility in terms of your location, which can be discussed at interview.
Closing date: 26 March 2019
First Stage Interview: Wednesday 3rd, Thursday 4th or Friday 5th Apr 2019. Exact date/time TBC in invite letter.
Second Stage Practical assessment: Saturday 6th or Sunday 7th Apr 2019. Exact date/time TBC after first stage interviews.
