Company Profile:

We are working in partnership with a client that provides technical expertise and commercial insight to deliver asset and infrastructure projects worldwide. They are a multidiscipline engineering consultancy that are technical specialists to support every point of a project's lifecycle for their clients.

They are currently seeking a Project Manager to join a diverse, award winning practice who specialises in the development and delivery of major projects across most of the main infrastructure sectors.

Roles and Responsibilities:

You will take a lead role on a diverse range of projects, from small scale redevelopment schemes to major projects in excess of £100m in value.

Key responsibilities will include:

* Management of projects both pre and post-contract

* Provide a first point of interface for the Client, ensuring all expectations targets are met or exceeded

* Forge strong working relationships with clients and become part of their integrated project teams

* Ensure high-quality, timely delivery within budgeted costs

* Provide leadership and manage productivity of the multi-disciplined team

* Take ownership of Bid proposal, strategy and constraints in order to meet project forecast deliverables and obligations

* Chair meetings, review and prepare reports, taking full responsibility for all operational and commercial elements

* Ensure all works carried out comply with Health & Safety and environmental legislation

Skills & Experience:

The successful applicant will be expected to have:

* BSc / B.Eng / HND in Engineering or Construction related degree

* Membership of a recognised professional body or committed to achieving full membership (e.g. MAPM or MRICS)

* Proven Project Management experience within at least one of the following sectors - water, gas, power, rail, light rail/trams, highways, environmental, regulated industries.

* Experience of managing both internal and external project teams

* Strong communication skills

* Able to work collaboratively with clients and suppliers and to deliver results

* Professional and ethical in everything that you do

* Knowledge of multi discipline project development and implementation

* Able to Identify and develop a phased approach to delivery, working collaboratively with the client to understand and agree project requirements

* Understanding of the NEC3 Engineering and Construction Contract or other recognised contract form that is applicable to the construction industry.
