Overview of Role

To support ELG, with primary focus initially on Guarantor Lending, by providing data analysis and management information across all customer journey’s and sources, specifically the Customer Journey waterfall, Population profiles, lead source performance, marketing optimisation and operations support.


* Support all areas of the business with analysis and MI, including:

* Customer journey and waterfall analysis

* Marketing: lead introducer analysis, cost of acquisition

* Applicant / Guarantor demographics and profiling

* Conduct analysis across the business, from explaining anomalies to full investigations, A/B testing to optimise the Customer Journey Waterfall

* Develop business, data and technical knowledge, using it to add value to requests for analysis

* Liaise with key areas of the business to fully satisfy requests for analysis

* Understand marketing and business requirements and priorities to ensure that work is carried out on time and to the expected standard

* Communicate results to less technically minded colleagues

* Run manual and automated reports for all departments

* Develop new reports and improvements to existing reports

* Review MI and identify issues and trends for further investigation

* Produce monthly MI packs for committee and board meetings

* Understand the data available for analytical use

* Be an expert on the analytics software used by the company

* Thorough understanding of end to end customer journey on site with continuous testing on site to ensure the experience is meeting the needs to our customers, using review feedback, onsite analytics and customer service input to drive change.

* Continually optimise application process across all devices and channels, driving a reduction in site abandonment rate and increasing accept rates through ongoing analysis and A/B testing.

* Work closely with the lending teams to ensure BAU journeys are optimised to improve acquisition conversion rate, to ensure the website is optimised for search and to ensure on site tracking is implemented effectively.

Skills Required/Preferred

* Experience of SAS and SQL / Good knowledge of Excel

* Highly computer literate / An inquisitive and analytical mind

* Confident, independent problem solver / Strong communication skills

* Qualified to degree level in a numerate subject / A-Level Mathematics or equivalent
