Do you enjoy working as part of a year group team instead of in single form entry schools?

Are you committed to providing a stable education for children?

Do you want to work in an Ofsted 'Outstanding' school?

If you answered yest to any of the above questions, then this is the job for you!

I am working with a school in Chesham to recruit a primary teacher to work in a Year 4 class covering maternity leave. The cover is to start as soon as possible to allow handover with the current teacher until the end of the summer term.

The class is a mixed ability class of 32 children. there are no EHCP's but a couple of children who do need some extra support, there is a regular TA in the classroom as well. Although normally the school have very stable staffing, this class have had a few changes this year so the children are looking for someone who can see them through to the end of the school year, giving them stability, consistency and a bit of TLC.

Medium term planning for the summer term is all done, so there shouldn't be more than a bit of tweaking needed for the plans. There are two other Year 4 classes/teachers that you will be working with and on hand for help with day to day advice. You wold need to mark and all other day to day class administration.

The school itself is based in Chesham and is a Junior school with 2-3 classes per year group.

The school, Graded 'Outstanding' by Ofsted the school, has a ‘CAN DO' attitude and always finds routes to success for the whole school community.

If you think that you can provide the stability and TLC that this class are in need of, and you would thrive on the opportunity to see this class flourish then this is the job for you! Apply now for a call to discuss the opportunity further.
